Why are beagles so dang cute? There is no factual answer, but I like to think it is because their ears are so dangly they can sometimes flop into a little bow on the tops of their heads. Or maybe it's because their paws tend to be bigger than their little stout legs, so they flop around like forever-puppies. Or maybe cause their little howls are never intimidating but always attention-grabbing, pulling all the strings of your heart. Whatever it is, we can't get enough of it and that's why we could scroll through Beagle memes forever!

One time my dad had a Beagle named Bagel. Of course his name was Bagel, because how cute is that? In the mornings, they would enjoy a bagel together and howl at the mailman just trying to do their job. He would tell me that story as a kid and I would always think it was the best life. That was my life goal. To be a bagel-eating Beagle mama. Has that happened yet? In this economy?? No. I've never had a backyard. But it is still the goal and these memes have me feeling like I'm getting closer and closer to achieving that dream!
